EMPOWERING, UPLIFTING and ADVOCATING for local migrant communities
We believe that every community has a deep and powerful potential to add value to our wider society. We work to support migrant communities living in West London and who do not speak English as a first language so that they may have every opportunity to succeed, thrive and invest in our shared future.
OUR APPROACH
Culturally Congruent
Our service users feel like they are amongst their family and friends when they are with us. We speak their language, look like them, have similar values and, in many ways, think like them. This makes it much easier to connect with them, communicate with them, understand them and earn their trust. You can sense the sigh of relief every time.
Reliant on Lived Experience
The fact that all our client-facing staff have lived experience of the challenges which we are helping our service users with means that they can easily identify with the difficulties their clients are facing. They know what its like. They've been there before themselves. Not only is this experience invaluable in qualifying our staff, its also a powerful motivator.
Committed to Empowerment
We strongly believe that our communities have vast potential to rise above their circumstances. We are working to work ourselves out of work. We strive to ensure that our service users learn and develop so that their potential might be unleashed and so that they might help others, invest in their children and multiply our efforts throughout their communities.
We offer services in 5 languages and our staff speak 9 languages altogether.
Arabic, Bangla, English, Somali & Tigrinya

If you have complex needs which may take some time to resolve, our staff may refer you to our casework team. The casework team provides support with complex housing issues, domestic abuse, engagement with social services, support with solicitors, long-term school engagement and more. We work closely with partners such as Early Help, Citizens Advice and Shelter to ensure the best possible service.

This service is similar to casework in that we work closely with the service user for an extended period but our focus in this case is the wellbeing of children under the age of 18. We will work with the whole family to help them improve their circumstances, their family relationships and their engagement with schools.
We provide critical support for women and girls who have been abused with FGM or other forms of violence or abuse. Our culturally sensitive approach means that we are able to get closer to women in our communities, build trust with them quickly and effectively and open pathways for support.

We run training for new Parent & Carer Champions from time to time. If you are interested in joining in or finding out more, please visit our Parent & Carer Champions page by following the link below.
Our Parent & Carer Champions are a group of specially trained volunteers. They work with neighbours and local residents to encourage a community response to youth crime and violence. They do outreach, attend consultations and public forums and work to raise awareness of the services available to parents and carers who may benefit from some additional support.
Our peer support groups are our most popular and one of our most exciting offerings. We have groups for men and women and for Arabic, Bangla, Somali and Tigre speakers in various locations around West London including North Kensington, Paddington, White City, Chelsea Riverside and Fulham.
